Rolling Stones unearth new (old) concert to sell

Although they haven't toured in almost five years and seem in no hurry to do so again anytime soon (and who wouldn't pay to see 70-year-old men in tight clothes play guitars), the Rolling Stones keep finding new ways to remind us that they're a pretty great live band.
In the latest release from the band's official non-bootleg bootleg repository, the Stones Archive , the Stones -- who previously offered a concert in Brussels, Belgium, from their 1973 European Tour on the archive site -- move into the '80s with a 1981 show in Hampton, VA, during the Tattoo You Tour.
The concert -- while not quite matching the anarchic fury of some of their '70s affairs, when the band was essentially walking out on stage every night doused in kerosene while providing free matches to attendees -- still manages to capture the group near the height of its considerable powers as a live act. The 26-song show, like most Stones shows from the mid-'70s onward, essentially acts like a rundown of great party songs, featuring all their biggest hits and relatively few fazed cookies, including "Under My Thumb," "Start Me Up," "Brown Sugar," "Tumblin' Dice," a pair of Motown covers in "Going to a Go Go" and "Just My Imagination" and the now-obligatory closing 1-2 punch of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Satisfaction".
