Tattoo For You? [Poll]

Years ago, in a bar, a guy — must have been roughly in his mid 30s — was getting mercilessly razzed by his friends. Finally, after being asked repeatedly what they were making fun of him about, he lifted up his shirt, turned around, and revealed the tattoo on his lower back.
"Yeah yeah, I know, I've got a tramp stamp and it's for chicks," he said. "I got it years ago and didn't know what I was doing."
He can't be the only one out there full of regret over a chosen tattoo. A drunken night in the vicinity of a tattoo parlor surely has produced a heart with a name in it, or two.
And then others think long and hard about their ink. Many choose the art to reference someone they have lost, or revere.
Believe it or not, there is a guy out there in the area who has a Blues Traveler tattoo.
The site tattoofinder.com routinely posts interesting statistics on the subject, noting that a Pew Research Center poll in 2010 found that 15 percent of 18-25 year olds think tattoos have had a positive impact, and an even greater amount argue that the increase in tattoos has had no discernable impact. The site also links to a study that shows that the FDA found that 45 million Americans had at least one tattoo, and this was in 2006.
