Over to you, Cameron: "It has an old-school vibe for a brand new team. Hiring Harry Angus from the Cat Empire to write it was a masterstroke. Whatever he got paid was worth it.
It has some of the Cat Empire's brassy, chest-beating swagger, but importantly doesn't sound exactly like something your grandparents listened to.
Best of all, it's nothing like that monstrosity Freo's players are obliged to sing whenever they win. That song sounds like a B-side from a hair metal band like Warrant or Poison.
Or the Gold Coast Sun's theme, which is cheesy, slick and empty - just like the Gold Coast, really.
