Assignment: Ukiah - Time to reinvent the Peace Corps
18.05.12
Let's remake the Peace Corps so it's relevant and useful to local needy people.
What better location than Mendocino County to bring together folks who want to make the world a better place? Our area is filled with people who think the 1960s was the greatest era in history, and that the Peace Corps best exemplified those times. Let's unleash their energy and build a bold new future! Let's give their idealism a chance to show the world what people committed to hope and change can do.
SIGN UP FOR TWO YEARS AT PLOWSHARES
What an opportunity! You'll be able to freely mingle with the underprivileged when you bring food products to Plowshares and prepare the day's lunch. You'll serve hungry folks who've stopped by for a free meal on their way to get food stamp cards.
Next you'll clear the tables and clean the dining area, then wash dishes and put things away before getting started on dinner, which has to be ready in 45 minutes.
Your efforts mean Plowshare diners never have to
