Does a wrist band tattoo mean someone is gay?

Someone told me that it was a gay symbol/signal to have a wrist band tattoo and I need to know. Was this person just crazy or is it true? I live in a place with many stupid people and just need to be sure.

Many men and women alike wear wrist bands, doesnt mean they are confused or even stating they are gay. yes i have seen the wrist band tattoo worn by a few gay men, but ive also seen it on some people that are definitely not gay. it goes with everything

some of you are so sexist, wat is wrong wit women having tattoos, why should it only be a male thing, its not to do with trying to look like men its about personal expression,why cant women have body modifications  tattoos if they want. Have any of you seen an older tattoo on an older woman. An old woman, her tattoos were no longer where she had placed them. so if your saying its wrong for a women to choose tattoos to make her feel good about themselves then SCREW YOU. i have tattoos piercings myself and i love them, since i got them my confidence boomed and i felt beautiful and sexy for the 1st time in my life.
