ALASKA HUMANITIES FORUM— The Alaska Humanities Forum will feature works by local graffiti artist, ME*NO to inaugurate their offices as a site for First Friday exhibits. Reception from 5 to 8 p.m. (161 E. 1st Ave.)
ANCHORAGE MUSEUM— Presents special exhibits, including “Preston Singletary: Echoes, Fire and Shadows,” on view through April 22, is a mid-career survey chronicling Singletary’s evolution from night watchman at a glass studio to internationally recognized glass artist. “AFTER: Portraits From Denali,” on view through April 15, is a solo exhibition by Tim Remick, who photographed emotionally and physically ravaged mountain climbers. “George Browne: Art Of Altitude” is on view through April 22. Mt. McKinley has been painted innumerable times, but nobody tackled the scenery quite like George Browne (1918-1958). (625 C St.)
