Cancer survivor has designs on your cash

People often go the extra mile for charities and do some pretty unusual things.
But one brave Braes teenager is taking his fundraising promise a little further.
Robert Marshall, who has survived bone cancer in his left leg, wants a tattoo to raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust and will go under the pen to get inked by his pal, Scott Mitchell, who owns the Deadstar tattoo parlour in Kincardine.
The 18-year-old, from Avonbridge, will get a tattoo representing the cancer charity in memory of the support he has been given as he fought his life-threatening condition.
He also hopes to raise money to help the charity’s work.
“Having cancer is a very difficult thing to face, but the Teenage Cancer Trust was amazing right from the start,” said Robert.
“Getting a tattoo for charity is a bit out of the ordinary, but I really want to help the trust as much as I can. It will also be a permanent reminder of a very hard and important period of my life.”
