The idea of getting a tatt is starting to appeal to me again.
In case you think a tatt is something you end up with after making some lace, you are quite wrong. A tatt is what the cool people call a tattoo these days.
Ask one of the 12 million tattoo artists in Bridgeport for a tattoo and the guy with the lightening bolts and scull on his shaved head will know you are a rube from the get go. He will try and sell you on one of those passe panther tatts where the cat's claws are drawing bicep blood. Don't do it. The last thing you want is a passe tattoo. Remember, you are going to have to live with this thing for the rest of your life so you want to be as close to the tatt cutting edge as possible.
Although I have never actually gotten one myself, it has not stopped me from developing a guide for those considering getting their first tatt.
As anyone who has gotten a tattoo removed will tell you it is important to become "tatt-ucated" before being tattooed (tatted?). Two excellent ways to reach that status are:
